In 2000 JoAnne was introduced to yoga and studied with Jonny Kest at the Center for Yoga in Michigan. Since then JoAnne has also studied with Baron Baptiste, Cindy Lee, Ana Forrest, Lisa Matkin, and the wonderful teachers at Cleveland Yoga. JoAnne studies philosophy with Margot and Bill Milcetich, and received her Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification from Brahmrishi Yoga.  JoAnne is also a Reiki Master having studied with Sister Ann Winters at Ursuline Sophia Center.  Her most important teachers remain her parents who taught her nonviolence, tolerance, and unconditional love; her husband Loutfi who taught her to see the world with a compassionate open heart; her two daughters Colette and Alix who continually teach her clarity; and her cats as they share their daily passage together through life.

“ The healing benefits of my yoga practice have significantly transformed my life.  I found a spirituality that had been missing for some time.  My daily yoga and meditation practices have guided me through many transitions and opened my eyes to the understanding that we are all part of and one with the universal life force.  Additionally, we can access this life force anytime for assistance and healing. “
