What gives you peace? taking a yoga class then sitting in a warm bath with a magazine.

Why Yoga? It taught me to have faith, balance, and focus.

3 words to describe you: Loving, happy, and goofy.

What / who inspires you? The community of Cleveland Yoga.

What you can’t live without? Pets! My dogs Sammy, Bette, Bowie, Napoleon and Gandhi.

Favorite yoga pose and why? Wheel because it gives me a sense of freedom.

Secret comfort foods? ICE CREAM!! and chocolate of course!!

Words to describe your teaching style? Light- hearted, encouraging, compassionate, informative, and above all fun!!

What do you love to do for FUN? Cook, and then watch people eat it. Read magazines, books, and internet. Hang out with friends and laugh. Anything that involves being physical and connecting my mind with my body.

When/where/with who was your first yoga class? Bhumi's in Rocky River. I was a sophmore in High School at Magnificat.

Local escape: Fire restaurant in Shaker Square and I love to hang out at the Whole Foods on Chagrin or Cedar.

Carmella recieved her training from Tami Schneider in 2008 and feels so lucky to also have been able to learn from Amy Schneider, Sherri Mills, Marni Task, Diana Vitantonio, Parker Bean, Candace Koslen, JoAnne Aboussan and Rolf Gates. Carmela plans on continuing her studies with Baron Baptiste in August 2009. Carmela is currently enrolled in the Nutritional Educator Program at Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts. Carmela is also an ACE certified group fitness instructor.
